Water has such a nice way of sticking to the petals of plants and lovely how it coats this white chrysanth adding to it’s natural beauty. Thanks Photowalk.ie for a great day out in the Botanic Gardens. For me, the rain definitely helped.

Despite the rain in the Botanic Gardens in Dublin today, the flowers were still in full bloom. Nice to still see bees collecting pollen in September and also making an appearance for the Photowalk.ie day out.

The magical roofbox which every year, on the 21st of December allows a single shaft of light to shine through hitting the back of this passage tombs burial chamber located almost 2 metres above the graves entrance. Did i mention they constructed this approximately 5200 years ago?!

On our trip to Ireland’s Eye and Howth last weekend with Peter Donegan’s Garden Group, i was lucky enough to spot this little fellow in Howth Harbour with some other sealion’s on the hunt for fish. How cute is he!

Ireland’s Eye is packed full of life – wild life and plant life. For another spot of bird life we have this stunning cormorant chilling out on the cliffs edge. Who knew birds like this existed in Ireland.

A pair of puffins, one of 6 breeding pairs in fact that can be found on Ireland’s Eye. This pair were spotted on a day trip to the island with Peter Donegan’s Garden Group.

A random canoe that we spotted in Brittas Bay, Co. Wicklow last weekend. It didn’t seem to have an owner but it looked like it was getting itself ready for some sea canoeing.
